The summit of Iran, Russia and Turkey in the capital Tehran will be dedicated to the discussion of the long lasting crisis in Syria and restoration of peace in the Arab state. The tripartite meeting between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Russian Vladimir Putin and Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdogan, would be held on Friday on September 7, 2018. Fighting terrorism in the country, regional, international and mutual topics will be discussed during the summit. The three leaders have previously held summits in the Russian resort city of Sochi and the Turkish capital Ankara. Countries are backing peace talks based in the Kazakh capital Astana which are aimed at reinforcing a UN peace process in Geneva.
