UNICEF has published a report which said the organization needs at least $3.6 billion to help the children suffered during armed conflicts in the Middle East.
The paper states over 48 million children were hit in armed conflicts, natural and other disasters in 51 countries in the Middle East. The document provides the details saying UNICEF needs over $3 billions to children in states hit by the humanitarian crisis and $1.3 billion to provide help to Syria and its refugees.
Juliette Touma, the UNICEF Regional Chief of Communications in the Middle East & North Africa says the organization’s appeal is aimed at promoting countries, organizations and individuals participation in financing missions.
She also said UNICEF requests more money to provide more help to Syria, Yemen and Palestine.
