The Syrian crisis is one of the most complicated issues in the Middle East. The country suffers civil war and terrorists’ invasion. People suffer the lack of food, water and medicine.
The past 3 weeks demonstrated the will and readiness of the warring sides (except radical extremists) to search the joint resolve of the crisis. The ceasefire in Syria between gov’t forces and opposition is generally holding. Russia proposed a draft Constitution for Syria, which more or less respects the conflict sides’ positions.
Nevertheless, this document is not the final one, so Damascus and opposition have now a strong incentive to elaborate their own projects of Constitution and meet again to discuss it. At least, let’s hope the sides remember the final decision will save millions of lives.
